Extract from the Press release of the Mayflower Colourguard Team visit to the USA

"From Orlando Mayflower flew inland to Indianapolis where the group were hosted by the twinning Association of Fishers, Indiana, Billericay's recently twinned town.  It was from Fishers that the group based its preparation for its entry into the World Colourguard Championships in Dayton, Ohio.  Terry Johnson and Glen Nelson who is principal of the Fishers High School were most welcoming to the group, organising several day trips out for the adults whilst the team members were busy practicing in the 100 million dollar High School, which boars two swimming pools, four sports halls - one seating 3,500 with electronically controlled seating, another with a full size indoor athletic track around the outside and a brand new auditorium seating 1,000 with computerised stage setting.  The Town of Fishers is a very up and coming town and is extremely proud of its links with Billericay, and this certainly showed in the way the Mayflower team were received....
